Onra – No Matter What (MP3)

Here’s another free download from Onra’s upcoming “Chinoiseries Pt. 2″ album dropping on November 15th via Dublin, Ireland’s All City Records.

“Chinoiseries Pt 2″ features 32 instrumental tracks all sampled from Chinese and Vietnamese records accrued from Onra’s travels throughout South East Asia. The first “Chinoiseries” was originally released in 2007 and initially became a fan favorite. Almost 5 years later and after a few more trips back to South East Asia, Onra is proud to present “Chinoiseries Pt 2″ to the world on November 15th.

Onra – A New Dynasty (MP3)

Here’s the first official album leak from Onra’s “Chinoiseries Pt 2″ album which will be released November 15th via Dublin, Ireland’s All City Records. Fans from all over the world have been patiently waiting for the follow up to his 2007 “Chinoiseries” album and almost 5 years later and a few trips back to South Asia to dig for some more Chinese and Vietnamese sounds, it will finally be released on November 15th.

The good folks at RCRD LBL premiered “A New Dynasty” earlier today which gives listeners the first chance to check out a track from the upcoming album.

Onra – Chinoiseries Pt. 2 (Trailer) (Video)

Dublin, Ireland’s All City Records and Paris representative, Onra are proud to announce Onra’s next album release, “Chinoiseries Pt. 2” dropping on November 15th.

“Chinoiseries Pt. 2” is the follow up instrumental album to his 2007 LP, “Chinoiseries,” which had Onra scouring Chinese and Vietnamese vinyl to create a themed instrumental hip-hip beat journey. Five years later and a few more trips back to South East Asia, Onra is preparing to release the second edition of this series, which features 32 instrumentals all sampled from various vinyl found during these various trips. Although born in France, Onra is part Vietnamese and this project is partially served as a way to connect with his motherland, while paying tribute to all the amazing music that surfaced from that particular region. Shafiq Husayn – DNA (Splice Mix 3) feat. Om’Mas Keith (MP3)

Dublin, Ireland’s All City Records is proud to share the final installment of their LA 10″ x 10 series which featured an impressive list of artists including Exile, Samiyam, Tokimonsta, Take, Matthew David, Dam-Funk, Ras G and others. The 10th edition was their ‘last’ edition featuring Exile and Free The Robots but today, you can enjoy a bonus 10″ from LA #0 this time featuring Shafiq Husayn and Om’Mas Keith of the group, SA-RA. Both artists are major influences and figures in the LA production community and it’s truly a great way to end this well-curated series.

Today, check the free MP3 download of “DNA (Splice Mix 3)” which is the final section of Shafiq’s seven minute contribution to this 10″.

The video was directed by Matt Ferran, and continues the throwback video style of some other videos from the Long Distance album, sampling from a collection of obscure 80’s videos and internet clips.
