Leaning Into The Ring Of Fire
Since he released his renowned debut mix CD, Coastal Breaks, in 1996, Adam Freeland has represented change, innovation and irreverence in electronic music, always refusing to be pinned down to genres. Since the release of second artist album Cope⢠in 2009, he is back in the studio producing new music for his own label Marine Parade.
This new mix shows a change of style for Freeland, with an eclectic selection of sounds that represent the kind of music this club dominating DJ plays when he’s off the clock and looking for something deeper.
We could have used this for the drive out to Burning Man, but LA’s fave art-music collective The Do Lab along with The Confluence’s new Post-Label, er, label, have assembled a charity compilation for their annual Lightning In A Bottle weekend camp out, featuring Glitch Mob, The Very Best, Beat Antique, Adam Freeland, Eliot Lipp and a dozen other Do Lab faves.
