the Kleenrz (Self Jupiter & Kenny Segal) – Filthy (Video)

Self Jupiter of Freestyle Fellowship and Kenny Segal are the Kleenrz. Their self titled EP will be released on July 31st via Nocando’s Hellfyre Club imprint and features Self Jupiter on the raps and Kenny Segal on production. The EP also features guest appearances from MURS, Volume 10, Abstract Rude, Subtitle, and others.

Today, enjoy the first music video from the EP for the song “Filthy” which delivers fans into the seedy world of crime-scene sanitation that is the backdrop for the overall EP. The video was created by James Reitano, the man who brought you videos from Madvillian, Cut Chemst and Kool Keith.

Content Under Pressure

Every third Thursday Big Quarters and The Fifth Element host a producer showcase showdown called Last of the Record Buyers. Hosted by Brandon Allday and resident DJ Nikoless, this Hip-Hop Community night in the Twin Cities focuses on production craft allowing anyone to come down and play their beats and receive feedback from fellow producers and the ‘SPECIAL GUEST’ producer. This month they’ve teamed up with Red Bull Music Academy with an extra special session, Content Under Pressure. This exclusive event will be challenging key artists making moves in the Indie Market and Twin Cities to make music with an unfamiliar collaborator in a limited amount of time.
