House Shoes – California Dreamin’ Episode 1 and 2 Interview (Video)

A couple weeks back we shared the first episode of Abraham Beltran’s (Soundways Radio) in depth interview with House Shoes entitled “Welcome to Detroit” which discussed Shoes’ early days in Detroit, his exposure to hip hop culture, etc. If you missed it the first time around you can check it out here.

Today, check out Episode 2 and 3 entitled “California Dreamin’” Part 1 and 2 which discusses his first trip to LA, the passing of Proof and Dilla, and his eventual move to Los Angeles. He also discusses the differences between Detroit and LA, his fallen comrade J1, and growing up after the birth of his son.
