New York’s inaugural Catalpa Festival, taking place July 28-29 on Randalls Island, is shaping up to be something beyond your typical sweaty summer music fest. The two-day event features a wide array of over 40 musicians, large-scale art installations, and a host of quirky interactive events. The Black Keys headline day one, with support from indie favorites TV on the Radio and Zola Jesus.
