Our friends 87 Stick Up Kids have let their first full-length album drop for free, in association with extra-radical NYC clothing label Mishka. These guys have really evolved over the past few years, from hipster-hop party group to, well, let’s call it genuine hip-hop party group. This is where LA is really at in 2011.
Los Angeles hip-hop foursome The 87 Stick Up Kids have been on their grind lately—prepping their first album, Car Keys & Rabbit’s Feet, performing monthly at legendary ladies club Crazy Girls, and even getting ready to release their first t-shirt collab, TITS x Malice x The 87 Stick Up Kids.
Here’s the video for the song “Lights, Camera,” the first single off Car Keys & Rabbit’s Feet. SK-87’s DJ Rockwell describes the clip, directed by Tyler King as “Public Enemy, the Joker’s gang from Batman and Project Mayhem.” He pretty much nails it.
