Indie rock has always had an affection for out-of-tune guitar riffs which perhaps can be interpreted as two brawling felines. In other words, it's the music of Jealous Girlfriends. This New York quartet certainly brings the prowess of two dueling cats but they skip-out on the cacophony of wails and replace them with luscious harmonies. The dynamic between the buzzing guitars, which claw at emotionally gushing vocals in their glowing indie pop, sizzles and should put smiles on the mugs of fans of PJ Harvey and Mazzy Star. In tow with Sea Wolf, they're taking the jealousy onto the road through the states and Canada early this summer.
