S. Money :: I'm the Man

Rostrum Records

Reviewed by James Shahan

While most rappers are trying to squeeze in their eight hours of recommended shut-eye like the rest of the free world, Khalid "S. Money" Kareem is wide awake constructing his next banger. This 22-year old Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania native (along with his group Tha Govament) is causing quite a stir. Underground king, and URB bff, Bun B, has even told the young talent that he has "a sixteen bars game like no other." Such a compliment from a well-known and respected heavyweight is something one can only earn, not buy. Then again, with an average work speed of three hours a record, S. Money earns all that comes his way.

Being from Pittsburgh the land where kings are made, not born. I have to say that this artist is the best that I have seen yet. He has street credit, and real credit at that. Whether you are white or black, this artist has a fan base in Pittsburgh like no other. Props to the man doing his thing.
