As if one Dan Brenner wasn't enough for the hip hop world, 100dBs could very well takeover the independent scene. Growing up creating dub mixes in the New York breeding grounds, he gained praise from hip hop critics after dropping Brenner's Breaks Volume 1 . He has been the host Dj for some of the hottest venues on the east coast like Midway, Lotus and China1. His latest project is with an emcee named Ryan O'niel which as gotten big-ups on Okayplayer. 100dBs has a soulful and at times hardcore selection of beats as his re-mixes make you wish they were originals.
