Yea Big + Kid Static :: Duck, Mother Fuckers!

What is up with Chi-town running things? I don't care what anybody says; Chicago is on top of the rap game right now. Maybe that's part of the reason why Yea Big + Kid Static is so great -it's genetics! I will admit, I didn't know what to expect from a group who "sounds like bubble letters exploding" but it describes their sound surprisingly well. Yea Big perfectly commands gritty, slightly electro hip-hop beats for Kid Static to scale at a very busy yet relaxed pace. Coming from the city of wind, I guess it's only right that these two caped crusaders offer listeners a breath of fresh air.

if curt and mellissa made the cover last year, you two definitely need to make it this year. two years of chicago, that's my word. big's got a nice contemporary feel which really helps to highlight statics's crazy skills. what you might not know is that kid static is a fully capable and incredibly talented producer in his own right.
