According to their press materials, Austin band peel is desperately “in search of the perfect 3 minute pop song. Real talk: they come pretty damn close on their single “Oxford”, a gem that unites the best of Cars-esque keyboards with cascading Britpoppy vocals and guitars. The song’s sweet, but with some extended fuzzy guitar drum fill rock-outs, it’s never too syrupy. And that’s a good thing.
