Ladybirds :: The Brown and Red Divide

It’s hard not to smile when listening to Omaha’s Ladybirds, their indie/electro inspired pop sounds like, well…happiness. The duo consists of Tyler Pursel of Gym Class Heroes and Teeter Sperber, whose adolescent-ish vocals are so well fitting for the music they create. Be sure to check out Regional Community Theater, which is out on Creep Records, and I promise you’ll smile.

I kindof cant believe how much these guys are winning by - its amazing. They just got a beautiful write up on MSNBC - http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/19636361/ Thats a ridiculously huge achievement for a new band. I hope lots of good things come LadybiRdS way because they make me happy.

Ladybirds is nice stuff. I love GCH too. 'Cupids Chokehold' is like a n anthem to me.

S.K.I.P. has grown to become the best spokesperson to integrate hip-hop, an aire of Eastern Philosophy, and meta-politics into the form of blissful/groovin'/total real post-Bush realpolitik. There is no other man-of-the-stage suitable for such a smack-threatening kamakazi role of soul.

This is so good I wish it was a Dorito's flavor! For realz, though, I've dug Teet's vox for a while now and I'm stoked on this.
