RISK Art Gallery: Without Completion
Jason Bentley: KCRW's New Music Director
We don't hear a lot about hip-hop from Hawaii, even though (technically) it's part of the states. That is what Creed Chameleon is here for, to show that Hawaii still has some urban flavor, if you will. Winning several MC battles, like Rumble in the Garden Hawaii and Radiotron, and opening for acts like Talib and Slum Village, Creed Chameleon doesn't play around. This dude, also known as Kris Rojas, is in it for the love of hip-hop. When cats come to Hawaii, Creed is there to rip it up with them, being one of the top opening act choices for promoters when the big playas come to the island. If you haven't heard of this Chameleon already, I'm sure he'll blend in to your music somewhere down the line.
