They're the biggest thing to come out of Japan since Godzilla…or PlayStation...or pokémon…you get the point- 4 Bonjour's Parties is massive; not only in size, but in sound. Seven of Tokyo's finest play everything from the accordion and piano all the way to the mythical glockenspiel. Ok, it's not mythical, but it is pretty cool. The great thing about 4 Bonjour's Parties is that their divers effort completely pays off. Never before has "indie" music been so infused with such fresh-sounding instrumentation. They may not always sing in English, some times it's harder to tell than others, but great music is a language that we can all understand. Wow, that sounded a bit like an end-of-Chuck-Norris-cartoon-P.S.A. Oh well. Embarrassment is tolerable if it means you will check this band out. It would be wise to listen to them now- before a fist comes flying at you out of his beard.
