When childhood friends Prizm and Abyss first hooked up with Dimension in 1989, I doubt the youngsters thought they'd be still be collaborating nearly two decades later. But after years of working on music they're finally getting the kind of attention they deserve. Their style of hip-hop has a very California-fun feel, and backed by hints of drum & bass and even ska among other genres, it's a great addition to any super smart summer soundtrack.

S.K.I.P. has grown to become the best spokesperson to integrate hip-hop, an aire of Eastern Philosophy, and meta-politics into the form of blissful/groovin'/total real post-Bush realpolitik. There is no other man-of-the-stage suitable for such a smack-threatening kamakazi role of soul.
