Still Going Exclusive Mix (Podcast)

Still GoingExclusive MixThis weeks podcast comes from two of New York City’s most talented DJ-producers, Liv Spencer and Eric Duncan, otherwise known as Still Going. The pair have been making music together since 2007, although they’ve only found time to release four singles in that time—perhaps due in part to other commitments as members of House of House and Rub-N-Tug respectively. But the tunes they have found time to create, including classic DFA hits “Still Going Theme,” “Spaghetti Circus” and “Untilted Love” are among the most memorable cuts to come from what one would have to call the nu-disco era.Liv and Eric have been getting busy in 2012, releasing two new singles—”D117″ and “Work That Shit Party”—on their own Still Going Records. Only the later tune, released this summer, appears on their new podcast, but there’s still plenty to enjoy here, including tracks by Carl Craig (the ubiquitous “Throw”), Tom Trago, I:CUBE, Clapton and DJ Harvey (in his popular Locossolus guise). Enjoy.
