Behind the Scenes: Hercules & Love Affair
DJ Heather: Decoding The Craft

Jin’s hype died when his battle career was ruined by Sirius Jones on Fight Club and since then Asian MC’s have been searching for a replacement. Enter the current triple MC threat from the far-east, Down-Lo Mein, Hong Kong Fever and The Hunan Bomb. With tracks like “Chinatown Hustler,” “Dim Sum Girl,” "Straight Out of Canton," and "F.O.B. (Fresh off the Boat) For Life," we ask ourselves, why not? Is this another “What's the world coming to?” or is it a “Finally, someone reps the rough Chinatown streets thoroughly?” At least we can ask ourselves “Are they serious?” Their mean street steez and stage presence has landed them a place on a couple of this summer’s Warped Tour dates. The really funny thing is that if it weren’t for the Chinese accents, we could call em’ MSG-Unit. Their EP’s “Die Hungary” and “Lunch Money” will fill your tummy so full of rap additives that you won’t be hungry again in an hour.
