Tittsworth: Libido Long Player

I missed Chicagoan Kate Simko’s set at this year’s Detroit Electronic Music Festival, but she’s been kind enough to give me, and anyone else who made that tragic mistake, a second chance by posting the entire set online.
For those unfamiliar with Kate’s work, get ready for an hour of minimal techno deepness that doesn’t skimp on the bass, the shuffle or the bounce. Her live sets seem to get better every time I hear them, and after listening to the one from DEMF, I really wish I’d caught a bit while it was going down.
Grab the set right here.
Catch Kate playing if you like what you hear:
June 16 - Buzz Bar w/ Ryan Elliott - Detroit
June 21 - Wake Up! @ Sonotheque- Spectral Sound Residency w/ Ryan Elliot + Sassmouth - Chicago
June 22 - The Bunker [Live] - New York
June 28 - Oscillate [Live] - Seattle
June 29 - Supper Club w/ Swayzak [Live] - San Francisco
July 4 - Montreal Jazz Festival (Club Soda) w/ Swayzak [Live] - Montreal
July 6 - Smartbar w/ Swayzak - Chicago
July 19 - Wake Up! @ Sonotheque w/ John Tejada, Sassmouth + Matthew Martin - Chicago
July 28 - Trilogy Wine Bar [Live] - Boulder, Colorado
