Jason Bentley: KCRW's New Music Director

It was a night of releases for the streetwear brand Kallusive as it celebrated the launch of its holiday line and DJs mix CD (Kallusive Vol. 1) with a bang this past Friday! Highlands in Hollywood was the center of the release party. Co-sponsored by yours truly, URB, Kallusive showed everyone one hell of a night!
The release party was anchored by several DJs who kept the crowd moving and grooving. Whatever your preference, Kallusive hosted several dance rooms in the club to satisfy your fix. It had three rooms, to be specific, pumping dance music simultaneously throughout the night without a hitch. They also had comfortable lounges for the ones who chose to simply chill and socialize.
The highlight of the night, however, came when the main floor transformed into a fashion show. Kallusive's own dance crew graced the stage first warming it up with a fiery performance, which definitely set the tone right for the fashion show. The models hyped the crowd as they walked up and down the stage rocking Kallusive gear. Special guest Mike Song of the dance crew Kaba Modern showed his support as he served as one of the models. In NO WAY was this a typical fashion show though as the female models seductively stripped off their Kallusive tees and hoodies on stage and tossed them to the crowd. Fittingly It was the climax that capped off a pretty crazy and successful night.
