The Saint At Large Presents
Roisin Murphy In Concert
Friday, October 24, 2008
Mansion 530 West 28th Street, NYC
Doors Open at 8:30pm
How The Saint At Large - longstanding gay circuit party purveyors - linked up with underground house diva Roisin Murphy is practically unexplainable. On Friday, October 24, 2008, Roisin will be performing her first solo U.S. show at Mansion nightclub in New York City.
The Irish singer-songwriter (responsible for such house hits as Moloko "Sing it Back," "The Time is Now" and a recent album called Overpowered) will present 90 minutes of songs from her new album (which is FINALLY set for Stateside release in early 2009) along with a couple of Moloko favorites.
On Overpowered, Murphy worked with Seji of Bugz in the Attic, Tom Elmhirst (Amy Winehouse, Grace Jones), Groove Armanda, Andy Cato and Richard X, et al for some extra special dance music sensibility.
Tickets are available at http://www.saintatlarge.com/.
