Magic Tradeshow Las Vegas

Magic Tradeshow Las Vegas

MAGIC trade show is a great place to see new products from a wide variety of fashion retailers. Even wiith all the various websites that update you on the latest gear, nothing quite compares to actually seeing the actual product first hand and talking to the reps about their latest lines.

Walking through all the vendors and thousands of people is a bit overwhelming, so its hard to miss all the great things going on. Here are some of my highlights from the various people I talked to:

GRNAPPLETREE

- Good friend Cody shared some of their new jewelry and caps for the new season, including a basketball leather fitted and hoody!

RIOTTT.COM

- Jack of all trades, Rickey Kim, filled me in on his new project Riottt.com, whose website has put a spin on the typical blog rolls of all the cultural-lifestyle sites out there and brings something new and innovative with The Wire.

MR.CARTOON AND JOKER BRAND

- We caught up real quick with Mr. Cartoon who was gracious enough to give us a quick interview about Joker brand and what we can look forward to in 2007.

JASON MARKK PREMIUM SNEAKER SOLUTION

- Seriously, why wasn't this done before. If you are willing to dish out $300 on the latest sneaker, you should at least have something that can clean the damn things. Thankfully, Jason Markk have created a new premium formula that has all the packaging, design and bristles that won't leave you cringing in anguish wondering if that $5 Foot Locker cleaner is gonna stain you latest quickstrikes.

UPPER PLAYGROUND

- This San Francisco based label and store has expanded into homewares and their new plush pillows are looking real dope.

CROOKS & CASTLES

- Cant stop these Crooks, and their latest styles and patterns show that they are moving full steam ahead. Dennis gives us the exclusive preview of their new jersey prints and Laffy Taffy chains.

OBEY CLOTHING

- Caught up with class comedian and all around good dude Mike T, Obey's men's designer, for a brief look at their latest goods.

RED CLAY

- This budding brand put a nice twist on the white zip up, and did a white perforated leather joint.
