Ugandan Youth cover Bjork on Benefit Album *YOU CAN HELP*

Grant Buhr, of Chicago based non-profit organization Project Focus, has recorded and released "Movement of Life," an album that benefits the Bitone Home and Center for Disadvantaged Children in Uganda. The Home strives to improve the lives of Ugandan children who have experienced deaths in their families, physical abuse, malnutrition, displacement, and poverty resulting from their country's tumultuous social and economic conditions. The project's organizers are committed to the idea that music instills the peace and courage necessary to overcome physical and psychological trauma. The album features songs by the Bitone Troupe, resident children of the Home. Buhr recorded the children in the Home's living room, with just his laptop and a microphone. One of the album's most beautiful highlights is the children's cover of Bjork's "All is Full of Love." The album can be purchased at the Bitone Troupe's myspace page. To learn more, or to donate directly to the Bitone Home/Troupe, please visit http://www.bitonechildren.org/home.html. For Los Angeles residents, a hard copy of the album may be purchased at New High (M)art in Chinatown after Wednesday (9/10).
