Rhymefest's iPod Thief Leaks New Music

Posted Monday, July 21, 2008 @ 01:24 in Music by Ben Meredith

Rhymefest supposedly left his iPod unattended at a public event, where it was stolen by someone who calls himself "Prometheus." The iPod contained his upcoming album, El Che, in its entirety. According to an e-mail "Prometheus" sent out, he plans on leaking one or more songs each week until Rhymefest releases a single, a video, or something else along those lines. "Prometheus" is a huge Rhymefest fan, so I guess he's pulling a Kevin Spacey from Se7en, Tyler Durden from Fight Club sort of thing. Must be a big David Fincher fan. I suggest reading the letter, it is quite entertaining. For the letter as well as the first leaking incident of some new songs, check out Fake Shore Drive.
