All You Feel Is the Bottom

For those not in the "know"...ya'll should know that L.A. club Low End Theory is a pantheon. The freshest emcees, producers, dj's and bands converge every Wednesday night for a beautiful sonic orgy. A place for lovers of music, as indicated by the almost criminal cheap cover charge. Especially when you consider acts like the Volta, Busdriver, Sage Francis, Look Daggers, Aceyalone, Flying Lotus, and Daedelus have all graced it's stage. That's right kids, eargasms for five to ten bucks!

This past Wednesday was a showcase for three of L.A.'s most promising producers. Mike Gao, Dibia$e and Nosaj Thing freestyled beats via an assortment of laptos, drum machines, and other sound making mechanisms I'm too ignorant to name!

All were legit but Nosaj Thing in particular slayed the crowd of head-nodding beat junkies. The flow of his set was down right freakish, mixing mostly homegrown bass-thick beats that rattled the chest courtesy of the stellar Low End sound system. The sprinkle of Portishead vocals and an Ice Cube hook were also a nice flare to the already solid set.

Also a big props the voluptuous lady who was gracious enough to share her talents by pop-locking and booty-clapping to Nosaj's fresh ass beats!
