Black Spade video + tour + Ahmad Raashan tour

The Om Hip-Hop family is hitting us with an onslaught of new hip-hop activity. Black Spade releases his video for Evil Love, a break-up song with a soul chorus. The video, produced by the Director’s Bureau which is founded by Sophia Coppola, is a nostalgic camcorder view of Spade’s relationship mixed with aerial army images. Yep, an unlikely combo, but I suppose it depends on how you look at it. Black Spade also just released several tour dates:

Raashan Ahmad, another Om Records player, just released The Push, an introspective and sometimes funky album. The song “Fight” stands out as a passionately conscious funk jam. Ahmad is kicking off the summer with a jam-packed tour.
