In a minor miracle, the security staff -- apparently as smitten and hypnotized by this set as we were -- straight forgot to call us out of the pit after song #3 and we hung around for a fourth song, until they realized that they and we -- were actually working...Beth is my kind of rock star: back turned to audience, staring down a giant and intimidating, black and white image of herself...that can't be easy but Portishead really got up at Coachella, and simply damn put, I'm ridiculously glad I was there. More video en route, this was shot from inside and outside of the pit, raw...
