AHHH Coachella! Love it, can't wait till next year, can't wait till the year I get to lounge by pools and network all day either!

Still so fun tho, lots of hard work as Promo Mgr, but worth it! Here is my photo diary of the 4 days I was in the desert!

 

DAY -1 Thursday: Set-Up + Filter Party

Before most of you were even your way to Coachella, I had already touched down in the desert with the troops to set up the URB Booth and sort out living accomodations for about 15 people.

After things got settled, I decided the kitchen of the place I was staying was WAY too amazing to not throw down in. So I made Shrimp Ceviche Tacos for the Thursday night URB fam!

After some tacos and a drink we were off to the Filter party, which escorted guests to the party via shuttles leaving from a casino located in BFE, CA. The event was at a beautiful yacht club location...drinks were flowing, but sadly the music didn't really grab me until it was almost over--it was okay though, since I was about to witness three days worth of great music.

Day 1 Friday: URB Booth underway!

We were up and at em early Friday morning to get the URB booth open for business! Hopefully you saw us, we were in the "lobby" of the main ticket entrance. Thank you for everyone who stopped by and especially all the booth staff who busted booty all weekend!

Day 2 Saturday: MIA DAY!

There are a few acts at Coachella that I just couldn't miss--M.I.A. was one of them. I was BLOWN away! First time seeing her perform and I was the last person from backstage that they let up onto the stage before the front crowd started mobbing up. SO GOOD! boh boh boh!

Day 3 Sunday: Serious case of Desert-Lung

By the 3rd day of being in the desert from 11am - 2am, my asthma was screaming at me. Sleeping was difficult the night before because of this, so on Day 3 I decided...it was time for a bandana! It did make breathing easier when using it! Especially on those golf-carts. I decided I didn't care how silly I looked.

One of our fav graff artists, Slick, bombed this giant inflatebale pig that flew during Roger Waters' (Pink Floyd) headlining set. Here I am back of main stage snappin away as the story develops.

One of my personal fav perks of the All-Access Coachella experience--golf carts. Thanks for the lift Derek (Goldenvoice)!

 

The artist trailor area was a nice little village, cute and super fun!

 

And Sean Penn was back there...I had to take a pic w/ my camera phone to send to momma!

 

Ready for the MURS show...with my girl Kate (Murs crew)...I was freezing, thanks for the custome cut-up shirt, Kate!

 

Murs w/ band Whole Wheat Bread completely rocking the stage...view from the artist area side-stage, have never had so much fun dancing at a show ever...great sound, great view, and TONS of room to dance!
