For some, the internet is the devil.

For some, the internet is the devil.

Yes, it's yet another leak of another major artist.   It was reported yesterday that 50 Cent trashed the offices of his label infuriated after hearing word that there was a leak of a music video from his unreleased album Curtis - 50's real name, if you didn't already know.   This isn't the first time a 50 Cent leak has happened either.   Back in 2005, weeks before the release of The Massacre the entire album was released on the internet.   The label execs were so worried about how it would affect sales, i.e. the money that goes straight into their pockets, that they pushed up the release date by several weeks.   50 Cent places sole blame on Interscope Records, and rightfully so because someone who's working in that office is making hundreds, if not thousands, of people happy by taking this cd, ripping it, and uploading it onto the web for the world to get their hands on.

The big issue, other than the fact that his own people are screwing him over, is that Curtis is coming out the same week as Kanye's Graduation.

The question remains: Who's gonna out sell who?

We won't know the outcome until Sept. 11, but we do know that 50 vowed that if Kanye sold more records in the intitial week he would never make a solo record again.   And I know we all know what that means, another rap song by a major artist featuring 50.

So, I guess it's all up to you - the consumer public - to buy the records of the artists you want to stick around.

Ha, they're both doomed.
