John Digweed Presents “Live In Slovenia” Mix Release, Forthcoming Tour Dates

The legend that is John Digweed is prepping yet another mix of his live legacy with the forthcoming release of his newest CD/4xLP; Live In Slovenia. Simply put, Digweed recorded a tantalizing set in the city of Izola and is sharing with fanatics and newcomers worldwide. What’s interesting about the mix isn’t the volume of if all, but the actual balance that Digweed displays; pairing a lot of the tunes and artists you’d think he’d play (Booka Shade, The Chemical Brothers, Josh Wink, etc.) with producers who have just made their mark or even more so, on the up-and up (Boys Noize, Deetron, George FitzGerald). Surely worth an in-depth listen, Live In Slovenia is a journey that takes you through the mind of a mixing veteran who’s dipping his toes into unforeseen territory and opening the ears of eager fanatics who are willing to listen. John Digweed will be coming to a tour near you for a very limited run of tour dates near the summer. Check out the tracklist for the mix, as well as the tour dates, post-jump.
