Bangin tunes with great people on the water - Boston's best for summertime. What up dudes!

And look at sergio on the dex rockin shit once again.. give that kid a redbull and a j and he'll take you to outer space..

These parties absolutely ruined the reputation of that venue for the Post and every other crew booking parties there.

Boo Hoo!!! Sorry.. people are actually having fun in this city for once. Let me get you a tissue.

Great party, fun vibe, kick ass music, tripped out visuals, cute girls, cheap and food and beer! A must if you are in town and what to get down.

Thanks for ruining bookings for people who've been sharing that venue for years. I'm sure it will lead to something more amazing for people who are actually having fun in the city *all the time*.

Ain't no way this can be called "underground". Capitalist money grubbing might be more appropriate terminology. Soul Clap took other groups' regular venue and ruined it, making it nearly impossible to hold a decent event there in the future. True grassroots underground don't get advertised & promoted in the mainstream media, nor do they put on events that endanger it. Better wear a condom if you don't wanna get soul clap.

underground for the masses baby! call it what you want but, this is one of the sickest parties Boston has ever seen...

Ask anyone who's showered in the past 6 months and they'll tell you the truth. DOTC is the dopest outdoor event in Boston right now, with the realest music and the most open minded audience.

In response to UGH: If true grassroots events dont get advertised or promoted in the mainstream media, why are you reading URB? Each event that is featured in this article is grassroots and representing the USA's relevant underground. Are you trying to say that the YARD in NYC is not grassroots? you're hating is very very sad and pathetic.

Word - nice to know there are still some easy ways to get info on non-cheesey, refreshing seasonal where-to-be's.... in a world of over-mediafication, succinct filters like Fusicology are paramount ;)

Posted Thursday, July 10, 2008 @ 10:33 by JMoney

Thank you Soul Clap!! DOTC is the best thing to happen to Boston!! People are love it!

Posted Friday, July 11, 2008 @ 01:38 by D-Lux

nice article! Every DOTC party I've been to so far has been spot fucking on.

hella gay... soulclap sucks... coupla weenies they are. This is basically why nobody interesting even pays attention to techno or house anymore. Get a real scene guys. And the giraffe is the worst excuse for music I've ever herd... this is coming from a house head.

Posted Tuesday, July 15, 2008 @ 12:05 by shitblaster

man. it's really so sad that whenever anything good happens for boston so many people have to get so upset about it. don't you realize that every one of these negative responses about Dancing On The Charles appears on all six event writeups? people see this kind of hate and it just reinforces their opinion that boston will never have world electronic/dance music events. if you are not a part of the solution you are part of the problem. shape up boston.

Posted Thursday, July 17, 2008 @ 08:51 by Eli / Soulclap - D.O.T.C. Boston

My god, I cannot believe what I am reading. For once that someone puts all of his heart and soul at a task and believes in it so much that they make it happen and actually bring back what house music was and always be about (getting people together, an eclectic crowd to gather and share what we all have in common, a heart beat) and not in any way, in the best way, with uncontestably the best music there is out there, always playing classic and representing. how can anyone hate on such goodness, BOSTON WOULD BE DEAD IF it wasnt for soulclap and the other boys. people open your eyes, look at evolution, and get on board the spaceship, stop hating or you will be left on planet earth. I mean what kind of constructive argument is " the giraffe is the worst excuse for music" or "dotc is capitalist money". How can people fighting for the subsistance of house music can be called capitalist in any way, Some people just really dont get it... or are way too jealous.

soul clap sux. they have f*kd up the underground in boston.

Posted Friday, July 18, 2008 @ 02:27 by ssdd

Just how can these dudes claim to be underground when their websitepromotes the fact that they've spun at Macy's and H&M!?! WTF!?!
