In the wake of the cancellation of Rock The Bells East Coast tour dates in New York and Washington DC, A3C Festival announced earlier today that it would offer free passes to RTB ticket holders. As one of, if not the largest, Hip Hop festival in the world, A3C boasts over 5 days of programming in music, film, and related arts and this move helps establish the 9 year event on the same brand level as our friends at RTB, giving hip hop aficionados another event outlet for which to get their cultural fix.

The inaugural First City Festival nestled in the heart of downtown Monterey was a huge success. Heavy-weight event promoter, Goldenvoice, curated a wide range of acts to play at the fairgrounds over the course of two days, consisting of indie, chillwave, synthpop, rock, and much more.
Unlike major events such as Coachella, FYF, and Outside Lands, First City offered their festival-goers an experience unlike any other. Fans were able to effortlessly move from the carnival or between stages within minutes. Watching Quadron grace us with her soulful voice just steps away from the crowd made for an intimate and enjoyable setting. Acts like Delta Spirit and Capital Cities blazed through their sets with high energy, firing up the masses.
