My Bloody Valentine announce US dates

It was inevitable really, but we can't help but get a little giddy now that My Bloody Velentine has annouced their full U.S. tour. Granted, "full" is a bit of a exaggeration since they're only playing seven shows in five cities. But we live in LA, where the shoegazer legends will be playing two shoes at the not quite but somewhat legendary Santa Monica Civic Center (home to many many 1970s punk show.) So we just say "nah-nah-na-na-naaah-nahhh!"

Coachella Comeback Party pix

Here's something that has nothing to do with Coachella, other than it being a Coachella comeback party. Cool Kids rocked Club 86 on Hollywood Boulevard Tuesday night, while DJ Pubes and Mid City West kept things going — spinning old school jams like they were brining '88 back. Thanks to our partners Danceright and Monster Energy for making things pop off.

Ellen Allien's minimal beats head this way

In between releasing the fourth Boogybytes mix CD for her BPitch Control label and unleashing her next solo album, the minus-level minimal Sool, Ellen Allien is heading to North America for a quick DJ tour with Sascha Funke.

They hit Seattle tomorrow and finish up in Brooklyn next Saturday with stops on the west coast and Canada in between. See the exact locations inside.
