2008 Next 100 Alumni Keelay of (Keelay & Zaire) speaks to BMUSE for his new interview series on Always Hustle.com:
The idea here is to talk to artists and musicians about their craft and what they have to do in order to produce great work and survive in an age where everything is free online. The interviews will be split up in parts and will be between 20 and 30 minutes in length. This is a clip from my recent sit down with Keelay. Here Mark Pagley talks to URB about record labels, being an artist, and what’s up for early 2010. Plus, we hooked-up a free download of “Feel it When You Know (Sex Rehab Remix).”
From Street Boners and TV Carnage:
Amanda Blank is a rapstress from Philadelphia with whom you may already be familiar. She raps with the mouth of a pirate hooker and she’s a class act in person. Amanda is hot, but not so hot that you’d be afraid to kick it to her at last call. Hearing her rap about all of the ways she’s going to let you hit it is empowering; it gives you confidence knowing that some girls are really WAY MORE into the weird shit than some men. So with this in mind, I took her to San Francisco’s Good Vibrations, a dildo shop. …MORE
