Los Angeles to London, Daedelus, Tokimonsta and Lazer Sword, warehouse styles

In a meeting of Los Angeles beat and bass stylings with the UK’s secret warehouse pseudo-rave ups, on Wednesday February 23rd, Daedelus, Tokimonsta and Lazer Sword (alongside Philly’s Starkey and London’s Patchwork Pirates) play at an undisclosed location in east London with the Earnest Endeavours label and collective. This show follows up the Earnest Endeavours x Nosaj Thing UK AV debut and the celebratory Kutmah show for his prison art solo show, “Two Soups And A Honeybun”. (Watch out for the Los Angeles launch of Kutmah’s art show in May.) Kutmah’s “Two Soups And A Honeybun” gallery show opening photos

Celebrated (and yet unfortunately deported to the UK) LA artist Kutmah aka Justin McNulty opened the first leg of his “Two Soups And A Honeybun” gallery show of his prison drawings in London. 37 pencil drawings created with just a prison ID and 2 inch pencil, these works defiantly speak louder than words. For more information on the exhibition check out the gallery site 18 Hewett Street, where the show continues until February 13th, with an exclusive soundtrack provided by Kutmah’s latest mix “The New Error Vol 1″. Go cop your copy over at his Kutmah site. And if in London – check it out.

The show was brought to you a proper LA and London collaborative collective – VTech, Hit+Run, Earnest Endeavours and Protein.
