Just when you thought they couldn’t squeeze any more out of their year old album Wolfgang Amadeus Phoenix, Phoenix hits us with another track, part three of the “Love Like a Sunset” series. It was produced in promotion of their Madison Square Garden show on October 20th (oh ma gahd!), and it is a beastly 8 minute piece of electronic beats. Check it out below.

Busdriver, a prolific rapper that has only recently made a website (citing his computer cooties) has dropped a free mixtape for download at said website. This marks the Anti-Records signed rapper’s first foray into the free mixtape world. Busdriver flows over tunes from Monsters of Folk, Nosaj Thing, and Wolf Parade, to name a few. It is a cornucopia of musical genres in free mixtape form. And just in time for the holidays!

Caribou are following up their hot 2010 with a release of a remix album of their EP Swim. And the title is…wait for it…Swim Remixes. Minimalist, hip, and complete with trippy album art. The band has selected remixes by the likes of Fuck Buttons, Junior Boys, Gold Panda, and Nite Jewel. Check out Motor Drum Ensemble’s eight-minute take on “Leave House.” Cowbell fans rejoice.
