This weekend, August 14-15, in San Francisco’s beautiful Golden Gate Park is the Outside Lands festival. And I, Joey Carmelo, will be there watching artists like Kings of Leon, Gogol Bordello, Phoenix, Nas and Damien Marley, CHROMEO, and you know what, I’ve been gone for so f’n long, I’m just fucking excited to go.

It’s been a while since JTI, Joey the (&$#!ing) Intern, has been mentioned in the URB blogs but guess who’s back? Well, back on the URB blog – I’m still on the island of Samoa fighting blood thirsty mosquitoes and wrestling the local pigs for dinner (pigs, not cops). Actually, life here isn’t bad but if there is anything I miss, it’s life back in LA: the music, the art, the parties, and of course, the girls!!!
