Part of the last night of this fall’s Kitsuné Club Night “Autumn in America” tour The Twelves, who have been with the trek through the entire journey, Penguin Prison, who we profiled as part of our tour coverage, and our fellow Los Angeles resident Goldroom (no doubt named after one of our favorite local haunts) will take the stage tomorrow night at San Francisco venue Mezzanine.
Having raised himself on everything from early 90′s alt rock to the crooning of The Beach Boys, Goldroom’s various influences, including his penchant for this era’s onslaught of rave acts, can be felt on his 2011 Angeles EP as well as on his remixes for Citizens!, Niki & The Dove, and Gigamesh. However, we were especially touched by his glittering take on the retro-fied sounds of The Chromatics with the track “Fifteen”. So preview the video for that track right here before taking in the tropical-cum-ballearic sounds of Goldroom tomorrow evening.
Tickets for the event are available here and all of the information on the french label’s trek through our glorious continent can be found Kitsuné’s site as well as on the tour official Facebook page.
