Michael Jackson may have died some three years ago, but it is a fact that his impact on music video productions has not wound down since his death. Case in point is the amount of time Thriller has, especially since MJ’s passing, been referenced in clips by artists that were allured and amazed at his presence on television in the early 80′s. Today we’re adding a hilarious new clip by Brit Martin Dubka, the English/Swedish tag team of Punks Jump Up, and former Groove Armada lead singer Saint Saviour‘s collaboration on a video for the track “Feels Good” into the pool of rabid Thriller fans.
With a pretty darn infectious blend of synths and punk-y vocals, Dubka and Punks’ sounds follow a roving club goer through the inside of a London discotheque where she is hypnotized by a mirror ball into unleashing her inner wolf. What follows is a wonderfully upbeat homage to dancing in graveyards, public freakishness, and the innocence of childhood the comes out in us all around Halloween.
To bring you all the wolfy contact-lensed, giant claw fun of the clip Sponk Studios’ director Andrea Barone followed the videos protagonist around and filmed sneaky cameos by Punks Jump Up themselves at East London’s hipster mecca Dalston Superstore. See if you can spot the DJ duo for yourself and pick up the Feels Good single through the Kitsuné web store now.
