Exclusive Mix

When you think French beatmakers, you can only name a handful as dope as the man known as Fulgeance; primmed with a smooth and stylish sound that bubbles between the pads of an MPC 2000XL, the French beatmaker released his second album within a span of a year, Step Thru on rx:tx earlier in October. Taking cues from classic hip-hop formulas whilst infusing his own mastery of analog and digital instrumentation, there’s gratuitous amounts of soul and funk between each clap, break and kick that’s heard. Considering we know how hard Fulgeance can bring it, we asked for an URB mix and are delighted to share the results. Check out this otherworldly mix after the jump.
