Yes, I can’t remember the last time I heard someone use the word “BLING” (aside from those wannabe 11 year old rappers at the Cambridge Mall) but forget the aliens – forget finding another sustainable planet – the next space mission should be to this new planet covered in diamonds. 

As NPR reports,”New research that will published in the journal Astrophysical Journal Letters details a planet that is eight times heavier than Earth and with twice its radius. But instead of being covered in water and granite, it is encrusted in graphite and diamond.”
