Eric Haze’s contributions to the visual language of hip hop is no small feat. Saturday night fans turned out in spades to celebrate the launch of the fourth collaboration between him and Casio’s GShock line of watches. The “Haze Dunk” collab with Nike remains one of my favorite shoes, but the collection of his work over the years was worth attending alone. He’s done logos for Public Enemy, Tommy Boy Records, Dj Scratch and Just Blaze pumped hip hop classics late into the night in New York’s financial district with hor’s d’oeuvres and drinks provided by heineken.
