Fall is back to school season, even for superstar DJs like Richie Hawtin. Following a summer full of epic partying, much done at his ENTER residency in Ibiza, Hawtin, along with Loco Dice, are embarking on a the CNTRL: Beyond EDM tour of North American universities that will feature daytime educational lectures along with the nighttime music events these two DJs are globally renown for.

Inspired by the recent surge in EDM popularity across North America, notable technologist Hawtin and Dice decided the autumn semester would be the perfect opportunity to take their underground techno sound to college campuses, in an effort to educate as well as entertain. With that in mind, CNTRL: Beyond EDM will feature daytime seminars on music technology, presented by Electronic Music and DJ school Dubspot and featuring presentations by Hawtin, Dice,  controller specialist Eon Golden, sound engineer Johannes Kramer and a rotating cast of special guests, including techno luminaries Carl Craig, Seth Troxler, Kevin Saunderson, Josh Wink, Victor Calderone, Paco Osuna, Tiga and John Acquaviva.

CNTRL: Beyond EDM kicks off October 29th in Buffalo, NY and will hit 17 campuses across the East Coast and Midwest. A West Coast tour is also being planned for spring semester 2013.
