As the rave scene continues it’s perpetual cycle of positive and negative perception, this one definitely falls into the negs category. Last fall we reported that a dolphin named Shadow died two days after a rave event was held at the water park in Switzerland where Shadow was a — ahem — resident. At the time, it was speculated that hours of repetitive bass-heavy music might have lead to Shadow’s demise since dolphins have extremely sensitive hearing. Six months later, a toxicology report has revealed that a “heroin substitute” was found in the animal’s urine following his death. It’s pretty obvious to assume that Shadow scored his stuff from one of the human parties in attendance. [MSN]
