Tonight is the night where movie goers lose their mind and LA transplants become all hip, by getting some temp job in Park City to say they are part of the Sundance Film Festival. While that is all fine and dandy for the big ballers, Salt Lake City, only 20 miles outside Park City, will feature local celebrities MC Pig Pen and Pat Maine @ Urban lounge for a preview of their collaborative project.

“The Last Year” is a completely produced by Kentron Da Mastodon along with one beat from Sapient of Sandpeople, and includes 14 tracks of pure hip hop with Utah flavor, featuring Homeboy Sandman and Amber Lees. The two emcees have been touring relentlessly for the past two years, driving hours and hours to cities on a regular basis to build up a reputation outisde the 801 area code. The album represents life on the road, and all things encountered while being far away from home, but still having to deal with home when you are not even there.
