Don’t call them a supergroup. DFA artists have always liked to mix members, with Hot Chip‘s Alex Doyle hitting the road with LCD Soundsystem as often as LCD drummer Pat Mahoney hit the skins for Hot Chip. Perhaps that’s the secret to the label’s seemingly bottomless well of excellent dance-flavored ideas—collaboration.

New Build continues the fine tradition, with Mahoney appearing on the occasional tune, plus Chipper Felix Martin delivering the lovely techno-pop of “Do You Feel Loved?,” backed by equally excellent remixes by Dominik Eulberg and Juju & Jordash.” The tune will get a limited edition 500 pressing vinyl release via their own Lanark Records.
