More than 6,000 people attended the Marque Las Vegas One-Year Anniversary
On Monday, January 3, 2012, Marquee Nightclub and Dayclub in Las Vegas celebrated its one-year anniversary.
The 62,000 square foot venue, housed within the sprawling Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas, touts a yearlong electronic music program. In just a short time, it became the most highly attended nightclub in America. They accomplished this by keeping the experience consistent, just as dance music has exploded in the United States.

To make the event unforgettable, Marquee enlisted the DJ skills of one of its top residents, Avicii, who is currently ranked as one of the top producers and remixers in the world.
During a press-only event, managing partner Jason Strauss sat with Avicii for welcoming remarks and a Q&A. Afterward, we were transported to an all press dinner at Lavo Restaurant & Nightclub, where we were treated to an exquisite Italian dinner.

We returned to the hotel after dinner by 10pm, with instructions to arrive at Marquee by midnight. Within an hour from opening, the front entrance to Marquee was fully-loaded with people wanting to get in. Luckily we were granted our own VIP area with direct views of all the action.
In total approximately 6,000 people attended the one-year anniversary event. Avicii spared no expense as he took control of the club’s state-of-the-art Funktion One sound system, delivering an unforgettable experience. He dropped some of his biggest tunes, including “Le7els“ and “Seek Bromance.” Meanwhile, theatrical dancers and entertainers provided extra visual stimulation around the 40-foot LED DJ booth.
