(Holy Cripes, I had the Air Jordan Retro XI when I was a junior in high school but back then, there was never this crazy of a demand; plus, I worked at Foot Locker so I was able to bypass the line but when I worked the Air Jordan release line, it was never this crazy).

In the news today, the Air Jordan Retro XI were (re)release but unfortunately, in several cities across the US, the popularity of these shoes caused ….well, lets look at the list so far:

• Seatlle, WA:  ”Police at the Westfield Southcenter mall in Tukwila, Wash., were so outmanned they had to call for support from some two dozen officers around the Seattle Area.” Pepper spray was used to disrupt fights in the crowd.
• Taylor, MI: Rush of 100 people caused mall doors to break (also proved hiding in a mall is not effective during a zombie apocalypse.
• Louisville: KT: Fights
• Oakland, CA: Gunshot fired (no one reported hurt)
