Detroit Grand Pubahs Exclusive Mix (Podcast)

Detroit Grand Pubahs

Exclusive Mix

I know you wanna do it, you know I wanna do it too”, are lyrics that are synonymous with dancefloor debauchery and the legendary status of the duo that is Detroit Grand Pubahs. While the duo’s been at it for over a decade, they’ve released some great releases on label like Poker Flat Records and Deletefunk, maintaining their strong stance on the techno world by crafting sounds solely their own, never to be duplicated or replicated. So, leave it to the duo to launch their own imprint, Engineroom and re-release one of their greatest contributions to the world of dance music. Their revamp of “Sandwiches” includes fresh remixes, paving the way for the Pubahs to coordinate the label the only way they know how. To commemorate the start of Engineroom– as well as just do what’s right for all the Pubah fanatics out there — the duo have given us this week’s URB podcast, cobbling together unreleased gems as well as a handful of ’90s classics. So go make some sandwiches and enjoy the mix after the jump.
