Plug Research is back with another great mix for their monthly podcast series, this time featuring Chicago duo, Tensei, comprised of Simple X and Midas Wells.

The two met at Southern Illinois University in the late 90’s and the two built a natural rapport and friendship. After loosing touch after some years, the two reconnected post college and began working as the production duo, Tensei, meaning ‘heaven star’ in Japanese.

Tensei’s podcast for Plug Research features music between the years of 2009 and 2011 and is a collection of unreleased songs, remixes and sonic experimentation consisting of live instrumentation and beats.

Look out for Tensei’s official release via Plug Research sometime in 2012.
