Kid Cudi has been working out his acting chops a lot lately. His role as the dog walking, weed dealing Domingo Brown on this season’s How To Make It In America has been taken up a few notches, and now he’s released this short film for the song “Maniac” where he flashes that winning Cudi grin while going on a murderous rampage with fellow serial killer Cage.
Shot in Detroit last winter, but with dialog entirely in French, this clear hommage to the 1992 film Man Bites Dog offers the similar premise of a film crew following around a killer as he does his grizzly deeds. But even if you’ve seen the Gen-X cult classic, that doesn’t make several of the scenes here any less chilling. Not recommended for watching before bed.
Lolol what a piece of dung! Cage can’t act, and Cudder is even worse! I pissed my pants laughing through this entire thing. I’ve seen a hundred student films with $10 budgets that are better than this. Everyone is just trying so hard here, I really find it hard to believe that this isn’t a bloody joke. The last time I laughed this much at something was when I watched a twilight film on a place. Wtfeck!
